The Upper Darby Historical Society was founded in 1984, for the purpose of preserving historic sites, documents, monuments, and artifacts in Upper Darby Township. Presently, the society, working with the Township Council and the Upper Darby Historical Commission, is committed to the preservation and restoration of the Collen Brook Farm. The mansion opened in June of 1997, and the society currently offers educational school tours of Collen Brook as well to anyone interested in learning more about our local history.
